The Process is a podcast hosted by Chicago dance artist Alyssa Gregory.

Dreaming, tinkering, note-taking, messing around. Rehearsing, redoing, undoing, rolling upside down. The Process turns the spotlight on what happens long before an audience shows up. Through interviews with Chicago dancemakers and performers, this podcast is about the process, the value in the work and the working, and unpacking the methods by which we create dance.

Soham is honored to co-produce the work of Alyssa Gregory as we pilot a Producing Partnership program that aims to uplift and amplify Black voices and dreams in Chicago. Through a lens of solidarity, interconnectedness, and equity, Soham Dance Space prioritizes the needs of Black dance artists. We believe artists of color must come together to fight cultural hegemony and white supremacy, and, as a South Asian American-led organization, our position in American society calls on us to specifically commit to uplifting our fellow Black artists. We want to build on legacies of Black-Desi solidarity by supporting one Black-led project in 2021 as a co-producer.
